Bridge Four in action

Jonesing for more Stormlight Archive action after finishing Words of Radiance? Check out this amazing recreation of the climactic battle from The Way of Kings, done entirely in the medium of Lego! Insanely talented Stormlight Archive fan Rick Martin took the most heart-pounding battle of the first book and recast it using tiny yellow plastic men, and the result is better than could be imagined.

Seen here from above is the full battle plan for the assault on the Tower, a deadly confrontation that nearly spelled the end for several of our main characters. Forces in blue represent Dalinar Kholin’s army, forces in black the Parshendi. Fleeing in the upper right corner is Sadeas, the biggest jerk in the world. Let’s get a close-up on your evil mug, Sadeas!

Muahaha, mine is an evil Legoface.

The terrible-person verisimilitude in this recreation is amazing. Never have I seen a more accurate depiction of a character’s inner life in this medium than we see here with Sadeas. But can Lego properly capture the intensity of a Shardbears’ duel? Let’s see!
